You have all heard the saying, there is power in numbers and we’ve have all witnessed the power of the internet. Why not combine the two and reap our rewards together?
For me, one of the greatest benefits of joining the blogging world (besides all the great new friendships) are all the great deals I’ve learned about! So many specials, deals and websites that I would have never had time to find all by myself. But through the community I have gained on the ‘net and the lovely ladies of SD MOMfia, I do more fun things, shop more and spend tons less!
One of my favorite recent discoveries is Buy With Me, a group shopping network offering tons of local deals. This week alone deals include $15 for two movie tickets and one large popcorn to any of UltraStar’s Pure Digital Cinema® location or a $40 car detailing.
Today’s new deal is Hot Air Ballooning over Temecula for $139 (regularly priced at over $260!)- makes me wish I wasn’t afraid of heights so I could take advantage of it!
And unlike some deal sites, the discounts aren’t limited to a 24-hour buying period, so you won’t miss out on a great deal because you forgot to check your mail for one day. Which is perfect for me, because some times I forget to check it for days. In fact, I wish BuyWithMe could hook me up with a ‘Memory Loss Replacement Program” for all the things I forget these days.

I love getting to do fun activities at a discount – the hot air balloon one is right up my alley. Similar things I’d like to see are boating trips, go karts and fair/fun center tickets.

I like deals like mani/pedis but in this economy it would help me to have offers that either help my bottom line like Target, Henry’s or Trader Joe’s or are ways to help me have little indulgences like Starbucks.
I could totally use this…to work off the baby weight.
