MOMfia Favorite Holiday Movies

All during the month of December holiday movies and specials are playing on every TV channel, like It’s a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, A Charlie Brown Christmas, or those claymation Christmas movies we all know. No matter how many times we see these movies there is always one you look forward to. You watch it with commercials curled up in a cozy blanket on the sofa with a glass of [insert favorite drink] and a bowl of [insert favorite snack]. I personally love The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and Elf and here is what the other Momfia moms are watching:

Heather – Baby Bump & Beyond: A Christmas Story

Miss – Just One Miss: Christmas Vacation! I have to mention this one on behalf of my kid because he makes me watch it every year even if it creeps me out – The Polar Express.

Laura – Semper Fi Momma: Home Alone

Theresa – Rock On Mommies: White Christmas and Holiday Inn

Laura – A(n) (un)Common Family: Bad Santa. Elf is second

Stefanie – Rockstar Mom LV: A Christmas Story and Elf

Ginger – It’s Hard Being Perfect: Love Actually.

Beth – Hip Mama B: All of the above + The South Park Christmas Special on DVD – its a tradition in our house.

Margo – Nacho Mama: Charlie Brown Christmas!

Ginger – Ramble Ramble: Am I weird that one of my favorite holiday movies is Scrooged??

Christina – Mommy Loves Coffee: Elf

Rachael – Too Tutu Cute: The Grinch! Old and New…and just about every sappy ABC Family original!

About Red Lotus Mama
Nicole is a “thirtysomething” year old single mom to a little princess and a mischievous “chiweenie” named Chloe. She is a California native who grew up in the LA Valley, went to college in San Diego, and started her career as a website producer in San Francisco. In 2003 she returned to San Diego. She daydreams about getting paid to write and take photographs, practicing yoga daily and living in a beach front cottage. In reality she works full time while trying to finding nirvana in the midst of motherhood.

My favorite Christmas movie is the 1947 version of ‘Miracle on 34th Street’ with Maureen O’Hara and a very young Natalie Wood.
