Beth Avant has over 12 years of experience in marketing, public relations, and social media management. Currently her day-to-day life is entrenched in social media via blogs, Twitter and Facebook. As a co-founder of the community-based group blog, The San Diego MOMfia, Beth has firmly established a positive online presence, working directly with large brands such as Tiffany and Co., Mohawk Home, Souplantation, Sprinkles Cupcakes and Legoland California. Managing a group of 30+ local bloggers, within the first eight weeks of the formal website launch, the San Diego MOMfia boasted an impressive Alexa score in the 300,000′s. Beth truly believes in the power of social media, and knows that properly leveraging it for business is both an art and a science. Being a blogger as well as having a career in public relations/marketing has helped her to see both sides of the coin, and she is able to use her expertise to help companies grow and succeed.
Theresa Hissong Seid is a blogging/vlogging mama extraordinaire. With the goal of reminding moms (and herself!) that they are more than just “moms,” Theresa founded the popular blog Rock On Mommies in 2007. Managing a group of 6-8 bloggers, Theresa has grown Rock On Mommies into a reputable brand name and has had the opportunity to work with major companies such as Kenmore Appliances, Tropicana and Nissan USA.
With a background in marketing and performing arts, Theresa has a channeled her passions for fashion, trends, crafts, and reality TV into her love of social media and the humorous vlogs she is known for. Theresa credits her past experience as an NFL Cheerleader for the Arizona Cardinals as the defining experience in her life that made her comfortable in her own skin. Her confidence and genuine excitement is evident in her all posts and vlogs.
In 2010, Theresa co-founded the community based group website the San Diego MOMfia. Within weeks of the launch the site has attracted the attention of major San Diego companies and is quickly becoming a go-to resource for people in and visiting San Diego.
